What is Wing Tsun?


Wing Tsun KungFu is a martial art that originated in the Shaolin monastery, where only the most effective and simple styles were selected from the five KungFu styles taught there. Movements imitating animal movements and complex arrangements were omitted. The Wing Tsun KungFu techniques transmitted by Sijo Leung Ting are based on the laws of physics and biomechanics of the human body. The shortened movements are dynamic and elastic.
Wing Tsun is an intelligent and coherent martial art. It has a teaching system and principles. It is self-defense at any distance, focused on effectiveness, simple and modern.
For many, it is a lifestyle, constant learning, a fascinating adventure that requires commitment, where fighting with our weaknesses, we are convinced that the impossible does not exist.
Wing Tsun KungFu is a reserved name for the schools of Leung Ting Wing Tsun International Organization.

Si-Hing Robert Hegedus started learning Wing Tsun in 2007 (3rd master's degree). He is the main instructor at two hungarian Wing Tsun Schools. He is a private student of Si-Kung Norbert Maday (10th level Grand Master).
